Street names throughout the community mimick the town special attribute, such as Sky Mountain, Rock Terrace, Holly Road, Acacia Lane or Olive View Road. Another feature of this rural wonderland, are the groves of eucalyptus, pepper, sycamore oak and olive trees. Many residents maintain small gardens of fresh fruits and vegetables, most businesses are family-owned and historical structures like the Alpine Library inside The Old Town Hall are part of the rural charm of Alpine.
